Migrating from Wordpress to Blogger

Wordpress has a built in tool that lets you import from Blogger, why doesn't it work the other way around? After quite a bit of Google searching I was beginning to believe I would have to resort to Python / Javascript solutions from the Google Code base.

Considering how mundane the task was, Occam's Razor suggested I keep looking for the 'right' answer.

Another half hour of stumbling through other people's misery expressed in blog format revealed this gem:



It's a simple step by step tool that takes you through exporting your Wordpress blog, converting it to the correct format, and importing it to blogger. It worked like a charm on my privately hosted blog.
